Name in Lights by Banners

An expert at songwriting and storytelling, BANNERS’ newest song “Name In Lights” tells the story of love, success, and ambition through incredible instrumentals. With a soulful and beautiful intro that leads into a emotional chorus that seeps inspiration. Perhaps the most notable part of any BANNERS song is the bridge, and “Name in Lights” is no different, as an explosive and electrifying bridge carries into an impressive guitar solo.

All You Need Is Love-Nicky Romero, Jonas Blue, Nico Santos

With a song that has Romero, Blue, and Santos on it, you can expect it to be the song of the summer. Containing an EDM beat that carries the entire track and its vocals, the single feels like an energetic mood-booster and the retro EDM sound feels like the song of the summer. While the song pulls out the best of the old-school EDM feel that brings so much comfort, it contains modern lyricism and instrumentals. The three artists collaborate beautifully to create a contagious track that finds joy in the small acts of love. This collaboration finds itself at the top of our weekly roundup and picks for the summer.

Have a Good Summer (Without Me)- Valley

In anticipation for their forthcoming album, Valley transports listeners into a state of nostalgia and summer energy with their latest song “Have a Good Summer (Without Me)”. A hard-hitting and addictive chorus, this track is absolutely perfect for blasting with the windows down. The song uses niche and adolescent references to detail the ending of this relationship, while disguising itself among a happy beat. While all of the singles off of the album have been incredible, this track stands out not only in the album, but in Valley’s discography. With “Have a Good Summer (Without Me)”, Valley has made us itching for their album, making one of our top picks for this week.

Margo- Sally Boy

After a viral video teasing the song on TikTok, the excitement for Sally Boy’s latest single “Margo” was at an all time high. Luckily for listeners, the song didn’t disappoint and in fact made our list for the weekly roundup. With a beautiful guitar intro that is angelic and fantastical, it creates a magical intro for the addicting verses. The verses, which were the primary aspect teased on TikTok, lead into an explosive rock chorus, a direct contrast against the sweet indie-pop sound. Already incredibly well-received, the track has received thousands of streams and landed a spot on Spotify playlists. “Margo” is certainly Sally Boy’s best track yet and we are excited for this new era for the rising artist.

Last Man in the World- The Band CAMINO

Bringing back an emphasis on their rock sound, The Band CAMINO is here with another single from their upcoming album, “Last Man in the World”. This single makes our roundup for the week because while The Band CAMINO will always be a favorite of ours, the poignant lyrics combined with a thumping beat, makes this single feel drastically different in a sea of indie-pop-rock. The vocals are incredible on the song, allowing band members to show each of their talents while still providing an edge to their music. As always, The Band CAMINO defies all genres and continues to make incredible songs as we are eagerly anticipating their album.
