Single Review: Know Too Much by Janna Pelle

Review by Ayris Ouderkirk

Janna Pelle`s new single “Know Too Much” reaches beyond the veil as she communicates with her late father through dreamy synths and heavenly vocals.

With such numinous energy channeled into every note, we`re able to feel the connection grow stronger while she conveys messages of love and reassurance after suffering a great loss. She lets her father know she feels his presence all around as she grasps the concept that no one is ever truly gone. In the chorus, she sings, “you’re everywhere I go” which solidifies the intense bond they share, even though he may not be here physically.

Pelle mentioned that before her father's passing, she wasn’t a particularly spiritual person. But eventually, she couldn't ignore the blatant supernatural occurrences. Once she was able to see the signs she tried to capture that quality within this song - tried and succeeded.

Pelle mentioned she hopes her father hears her message and, as far as I'm concerned, it would be impossible for him not to. Whether you’re spiritual or not, the energy pulsing through this music is undeniable and you're sure to feel every last bit of it.

This track was one of Pelle`s first experiments as she transitioned into producing her own music. Her fourth album, set to be released later this year, will be completely self-produced. Don’t miss it!
